Hi, I'm Bobbi! My journey with food started during my early childhood. We lived in a multicultural neighborhood where I experienced hospitality in its purest form. The sharing of neighbors. From warm roti to fresh bao buns, to sweet jalebis, and the aroma of mom's fresh tortillas and beans on the stove. These food experiences would be what later in life would be my inspiration in my culinary career.
Food provides us with rich nutrients, but it also creates rich memories, an EXPERIENCE. Food can take us to a place we have been before, evoking nostalgia of community, gathering of family, our heritage, and even joy! Perhaps you too have a childhood favorite food. Why is that?
